A marketplace for a community of musicians and sound engineers selling music and sound effects.

01 — Background

Midway in 2018, I was part of a product and design team that initiated a much-needed redesign and product overhaul of the popular audio marketplace, Audiojungle. Launched in 2008, the Audiojungle marketplace allows an audience of sound engineers, musicians, and agencies to sell various world-class royalty-free music, sound effects, and audio content.

02 — Process

Collaborating with the broader product, design and development teams at Envato the overall goal of this project was to improve the user experience of the site by updating the user interface with the implementation of the new Envato design system, remove customer frustrations with an updated responsive design and most importantly aid users in finding what they are looking for while discovering new audio related items.

03 — Outcomes

The updates to Audiojungle product enclosed many improvements such as critical updates to the user interface and user experience, improved navigation across devices, enhanced sorting and filtering options on the search pages, and a new way for potential and existing buyers of audio items to discover fresh audio items.
