Design refresh for a suite of email templates used onboard new users to Envato Market.

01 — Background

During 2019 I was lucky enough to collaborate with the email marketing team at Envato. I helped organize, deliver, and conceptualize the new design and layout of the suite of emails. The previous emails used outdated branding and imagery and were in need of a drastic update, this was quite a large job with many stakeholders and required multiple iterations.

02 — Approach

The goal of the project was to inform and welcome users to Envato Market and hopefully improve conversion from the previous current email series. The audience for this project would be digital creators and purchasers from Envato Market. These emails will be a user’s first point of contact after their first purchase, then they will receive a series of emails with various tips and information in relation to Envato Market, so this truly needed to be a streamlined and engaging experience all round.

03 — Outcomes

The project to place over a few months and I collaborated with other designers, marketers, and stakeholders. The team managed to update legacy content and layout of old emails, achieve email design consistency, delivered a bright and bold creative direction, maintained the Envato brand, and ultimately deliver a seamless onboarding experience for new users.
