Envato Mystery Sale

A new creative direction for a mysterious five day marketing sales campaign.

01 — Overview

During April 2017, I designed and lead the creative direction for an email sales campaign. Previously called the five days of discounts, this campaign required a change in format and a completely different creative direction from what was done previously. The email marketing team at Envato wanted to make this an engaging campaign with the added element mystery and not knowing what’s coming or included next.

02 — Process

The goal of this project was to increase online sales of various Envato marketplace items while acquiring additional customers with the audience being agencies, email list subscribers, and various online businesses. The brief would see me build a creative direction around the term mystery, I collaborated with the marketing team to create the concept of cyber secret agents.

03 — Outcomes

This particular email campaign was rolled out over five days, each day included a different offering. The final result was to produce different color schemes which represented for each of the days of the sale, whilst also sticking to a mysterious theme. Overall the campaign performed very well, which included a large number of accrued customers and a significant boost in sales.
