An easy way to get design jobs done quickly, by freelancers you can trust. Envato Studio provided a great way for buyers and providers to connect.

Situation

Originally called Microlancer, Envato Studio was launched in 2014 as a way to get small design jobs done quickly, by dependable freelancers you can trust. Plugging into Envato's existing user base of over 3 million, Envato Studio offered a simple solution for fulfilling small-scope freelance work like logo design, illustration, landing page creation, and other design customizations.

Task

Working closely within a medium-sized team and some very tight timeframes I collaborated with the Envato product team to launch a fully functioning minimum viable product within three months. During this time I created high-fidelity and lo-fi prototypes, user flows, conversion funnels, and core product interactions. We learned fast and iterated quickly based on our key learnings.

Action

Currently, when a planned outage is scheduled, Belong takes specific actions to inform customers ahead of time. They do this by updating the outage card on the customer's online account Manage Dashboard, allowing them to access outage-related information easily. Moreover, Belong also sends relevant service communications through email and SMS to provide timely notifications regarding the impending outage.

Results

As a result of these proactive measures, Belong successfully informs customers at least 72 hours in advance of any planned outage, minimizing its impact on their connectivity experience. This fosters trust, enhances customer satisfaction, and boosts brand loyalty.
